I agree that my time piece (item) will be shipped to the Watch Hobby group* and deposit payment to Mark Parks, administrator, for the repairs as described. I agree to the estimate and deposit amount. Once my item has been received and evaluated by MarkParks, I will receive the original estimate confirmation or a repair change form. I agree to accept or decline repair at this time, complete the deposit payment or I agree to a $30.00 evaluation and return shipping fee if I choose to cancel the repair.

Additional terms:

• Your time frame for repair is an estimate. There can be no guarantees on specific dates for completion usually because of parts issues. Your estimate will be as close as possible and you will be notified of any delays via email.
• This is a service created for and by watch collectors. Under the direction of Mark Parks, this is a team of several people and resources to assist in your watch repair, modification and restorations. This is not a repair shop and that is how you benefit from our pricing. Your fees go toward the person / persons servicing your piece, tools and equipment and parts purchasing.

• You have the right to cancel any continuation of service / repair at any time. Any work already completed and not covered by the initial deposit is due before the piece will be returned. If there is a disagreement, project emails will be pulled, and we will review the specific situation.

• We are not responsible for other problems arising from the actual repair. Certain parts can be fine until they are worked on start moving again. Work will stop immediately and you will be notified if something breaks or changes on your piece during the repair. Every detail to care is taken from arrival to return, but your time piece can break anywhere. You will be notified of any issues via email.
• Once your work is complete your final payment is due immediately upon receipt of your photo, description of work, final total due amount and a short video clip to confirm your repair. Your watch will be shipped upon receipt of payment. Your piece will be safe until payment, but additional charges will accrue after 10 business days for interest and storage.
• If your repair is not paid for within 90 days of completion we will reserve the right to notify you of intent to sell or auction the item. We certainly hope this option is never required, but we must include it.
• Once you accept our agreement, follow the shipping directions and you will receive the confirmation of your estimate to accept or decline.

I accept the terms of this agreement. I understand this is not a profit business, but a group of fellow watch collectors conducting services, repairs and parts purchases for the watch collecting community. We urge you to support your local watchmakers and authorized dealers. This is an option for those of us with numerous pieces and the need for creativity, research and more to solve vintage and specialty time piece issues.
